How we work

Assess, design, commission, hand over.

Every site is different, so we don't publish a price list. We start with an assessment, then give you a written quote for the design and build before any work starts.

  1. Site assessment

We look at what's there: links, switches, Wi-Fi, cameras, power and how the site is actually used, plus a security review of exposed services, default passwords and remote access.

  2. Design and quote

A secure design with network zones, diagrams, a bill of materials and a written quote. Buy the hardware through your own vendors, or have us supply it as part of an end-to-end package.

  3. Configure and commission

We stage and configure the gear with hardened settings, then commission it on site and test that the security rules hold. Cabling and mounting are done by your on-site electricians or one of our partner electrical firms. Scheduled around your operations.

  4. Hand-over

Diagrams, configs, test results, a security summary and every admin password handed to you. Site staff get a one-page guide. Optional monthly remote support after that.

Common questions

Who actually does the work?

Triad leads every job and is responsible for the result. We do the design, security, configuration and commissioning ourselves, and bring in partner electrical firms and installation crews for the physical build. Everyone works to one design, and everything is documented so your network never depends on one person.

Do you install the equipment?

Yes, end to end if you want it. We design, configure and commission. Where electrical work is needed, your on-site electricians can do it to our design, or we bring in one of our partner electrical firms at competitive market rates. Either way, we're on site to bring it up and test it.

Do you supply the hardware?

If you want us to. Some clients want one complete package; others prefer to buy through their own hardware vendors. The design is the same either way, and you decide job by job.

Can you work with what we already have?

Usually, yes. The assessment tells you what's worth keeping, what needs reconfiguring and what has to go.

How is the work priced?

The assessment is quoted up front. Design and commissioning are quoted in writing once we know the site. Travel outside the Grande Prairie area is listed in the quote, so you know the full cost before we start.

Do you work outside Alberta?

Yes. Design and configuration work is remote. Site visits anywhere are quoted in advance.
