Leads the project
Scope, design, security, configuration, commissioning and sign-off. Your single point of contact from the first call to hand-over.
Triad Field Technology is the operating name of Triad Network Infrastructure Consulting Inc., based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. We lead every project from assessment to sign-off and bring in the trades, vendors and carriers each site needs, all working to one design and one standard.
Think of Triad as the general contractor for your site network: one firm responsible for the design, the security, the people on site and the result.
Scope, design, security, configuration, commissioning and sign-off. Your single point of contact from the first call to hand-over.
Licensed electrical firms and installation crews we work with regularly, at competitive market rates. Or your own on-site electricians, if you prefer.
Direct escalation with equipment manufacturers, Starlink and cellular carriers when an issue needs the manufacturer or carrier, not just us.
We design networks with redundancy. We run the business the same way. Everything we build is documented so any qualified technician can support it, including your own.
Founder and principal consultant
Dan has spent more than 25 years in telecommunications and networking, most of it in oil and gas. His specialty is switching and routing in industrial settings, and the WAN services that keep remote sites talking to the office: Starlink, cellular, private APN and radio.
He has held the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) in good standing since 2014, and information security is the foundation of every Triad design. A network isn't finished when it works. It's finished when it's secure, and every system we work on is assessed for security along the way.
He has worked across OT and SCADA environments, where a network outage or compromise is an operations problem and sometimes a safety one. That shapes how Triad designs: segmented, hardened, documented, with a backup path, and built so the next technician can understand it.
If it doesn't work at the wellsite, it doesn't work.
Working is not finished. Secure is finished.
Diagrams, configs and passwords are yours, not ours.
A control network that goes down or gets compromised is a safety problem, not just an IT one.
We keep remote sites connected, camps online and yards watched, on networks built to be secure from the start. We do it with field experience, plain language, written quotes and no long-term lock-in.
Our vision: every remote site, regardless of size, runs on a network built to the same standard the majors expect.
